Joey is fourteen years old and has been racing for five years. Joey is in the ninth grade at Beavercreek High School . He obivously enjoys racing more then school, but he realizes the importance of getting a good education. His racing career started in Go Karts running the OVKA circuit. Joey ran in the Sportman Briggs Purple plate division. He raced the go kart for about a year and a half before deciding to move up to a MiniCup car under the IKO Minicup Racing Series. Joey ran a limited schedule of about 12 races his first year and finished 21st in the MMRA national rankings and 10th in his local IKO series. Joey was awarded the most improved driver as he steadily improved each race. Joey had an oustanding 2007 and finished 3rd in the nation in MMRA Future Stars and 5th in IKO. Joey will continued to race MiniCups in 2008. New for 2008 Joey will also run in the Baby Grand Jr. Pro division. Joey had a great 2008 in the Minicup. He had several heat and feature wins throuhgout the year but won the East Grand National race and finsihed 2nd in MMRA Future Stars and 2nd in IKO. He had limited Baby Grand activity based on lack of races but finished fouth in MMRA Jr. Pro points.
In 2009 we will be racing Legends in the FAST Midwest series.
