Joey had a great 2008season. Things really came together for him in the minicup. He won several heat and feature races and consistently finished up front. Joey set several fast times and track records in 2008 and led laps in every race he ran. Joey ended the year with three feature wins at Klkare plus the Grand National event at Shenandoah. The National event ended the MMRA National points race. Joey finished second in the Nation for Future Stars. Joey was still in a serious points battle in his local IKO Series with a 1 point differnece coming down to the wire at the last race of the season. Unfortunately, the final IKO race rained out leaving Joey finishing 2nd in IKO. He raced the Baby Grand a few times in 2008 but the lack of races locally and the price of gas was to much for us to cintinually travel to Bowling Green Kentucky so we sold the Baby Grand. Even with his limited 8 race schedule he finished 4th out of nine cars but several of them also had limited races.
